Get summer started with a bang at Fiesta - an exciting mini children's festival of curiosity.
As well as all the usual Science Centre fun, there's lots more to excite the whole family both inside and out. And it’s all included free with admission!
Olympic and Parlaympic fever have taken over this years Fiesta! Outside you're invited to join forces with your friends and family to take on the bugs of the Bug Olympics. Will your human team beat the bugs? And why not recreate the sounds of nature with your very own opening ceremony on The Star mini stage.
Back inside discover what it takes to become a superstar Olympic or Paralympic athlete. Take part in interactive activities in The Science of Us Zone. And be wowed by live experiments that will help us understand more about our how exercise affects our body in brand new live show, What Happens: Our Body and exercise.Â
Plus, don't miss two epic Planetarium shows, huge 'don't try this at home' demos in Science Live and two floors of hands-on science fun!
The Science Centre is open every weekend and all throught the school summer holidays.
