Quiet Hours
Quiet Hours
Need a little quiet time? Our Quiet Hours have been designed as a sensory friendly time for families who need a quieter and calmer visit to the Science Centre.
On selected dates enjoy a more relaxed visit to the Science Centre. During our Quiet Hours we will be lowering the capacity of people in the building, cutting queues with quick entry procedures, turning the volume down or off on some of our noisier exhibits and turning off the microphones on our Science Live presenters.
Your Quiet Hours ticket will give you access to the Science Centre exhibition floors from 9:30am to 11am and will include a Planetarium show at 11am. If you would like to stay longer you can upgrade your ticket on the day.*
Quiet Hours have been designed for families with children who have sensory sensitivities or those that have a preference for a calmer environment.
*Please be aware that from 11am the Science Centre will be open to the general public and noise levels will be louder. The cost to upgrade your ticket will be £7.50 per person.
