Did you know that science is vital in solving some of our planet’s greatest mysteries? It’s helped to cure illnesses and taken us beyond our own planet. But can we use the science of light to help find the clues we need to unlock our mystery safe? And what will be hidden inside? Let’s find out together!

Through enlightening experiments and dazzling demos, we’ll illuminate the hidden clues. How can light change our perception of colour? What will ultraviolet light reveal about our mystery? The Science Theatre is accessible so everyone can enjoy all the fun. Sometimes there will be loud noises, but we'll tell you about them before the show starts. If you want to wear ear defenders, you can borrow them from us before the show starts. If you feel nervous in a show, you can stay near the back and leave quickly if you need to.

Sensitive to loud noises? There's a not-so-noisy show just for you at 3.30pm.
